I was wondering if you guys have any documentation on what features
are dependent on JS?

Hi Jason,

Most of the helpers rely on js like same-height, full-height, elastic-
height, elastic column, vertical-center and full-width since the
engine need to do calculations to position these elements correctly.

Also without javascript you only have support for four columns, you
can nest up to 4 columns on every column.

The Elastic Engine is pretty fast and we are woking in make it faster,
we recommend you to use Elastic CSS Framework with all hte javascript
features to take advantage of its full potential.

Thanks for the info. I have no reservations about using JS with the
framework, but wanted to see what I could get away with, keeping
viewers who have disabled JS in mind.

For instance, this demo...

...doesn't work correctly when JS is disabled. So I asked my original
question so that I know what to change in the html so that it WILL
work if JS is disabled, but still use the framework.

For that wo work you only need to specify the widths in fixed and
elastic columns, making them fixed should work almost the same except
for the same-height helper that is used in the maincoulmn and sidebar
