Hi,

I was looking for a solution for rapidly building pages for my employers organisation. I appreciate that much of this functionality has been superseded by media queries, flexbox etc, but we make massive use of ie7/ie8 and this seems like a decent way to make liquid / adaptive layouts for older and modern browsers.

The real concern is that the group hasn't received a post in a good while. This suggests to me a show stopping problem was found (possible the iPad orientation bug mentioned below?) and the authors moved on to other things.

Is anybody using this to make current webpages, in this era of firefox v22, chrome v27 etc?

Will it work on iPhones, iPads and android devices, *with the right tuned settings*. I appreciate one might have to employ media queries alongside elastiCSS to cover devices released since it's inception.

Any feedback greatly appreciated.

...I wish there was something like this when I was building eCommerce sites in the early 00's.

Kind regards,
Mike

Hi Mike,

The iOS orientation bug got corrected in a OS update, it was safari that was triggering a lot of window resize events.

Elastic is so well done that we haven't had to make changes to it since like a year ago, you can be confident to use it in big projects.

We use it everyday in  http://breezi.com , breezi is a modern website builder and elasticss is a core part of it. You can try it and see if for yourself, enter and create a free site.

Cheers,
Sergio
