Design as an expression of a new more liberal concept of life. All Thin-Line models are simple and linear with a slenderness which turns its back on unuseful embellishments. With its exact lines and function, it breathes life into warm and modern spaces, creating a unique atmosphere even in the smallest of bathrooms.

2. On a different but related topic, can there be (or is there) an option to change the line end style. Currently all lines end with a rounded end, which is centered on the point defining the line (easy to see on an open think line). It would be great to be able to make the end of a line a square end that starts/stops right where the points end. Being able to assign differing styles to closed or open lines/curves would be helpful.

Hi Pascal. I have a related problem. I have some curves with arrow head line ends. The arrow heads appear on the model views and on the layout details, but they do not print via either PDFCreator or directly from Rhino to paper.

I have discovered that Leaders expect associated text, with the leader line having an extension into the expected text area. Even if no text is supplied, the Leader line has the extension which would normally be associated with the text. That will not work for some of my arrows, which are intended to show directions, such as surface water flow, and flow direction in drainage pipes.

The Berridge Thin-Line Panel is a versatile, maintenance-free, prefinished metal panel that includes a channel drain interlock. It can be installed vertically over open framing or solid sheathing on walls, soffit, ceilings or fascia providing a narrow panel line in a smooth, wood grain or stucco embossed finish.

The hardest thing about studying businesses and investors is that many traits that fueled their success could have just as easily triggered failure. But we rarely think about it that way when learning from specific outcomes.

We think Mark Zuckerberg is a genius for turning down a big offer to sell his company. But people criticize Groupon and Yahoo! with as much passion for turning down their big buyout offers. What is the lesson for entrepreneurs here?

The screenshot looks rather like paragraph border. First View>Formatting Marks to see the exact limits of paragraphs, including empty pragraphs. Then check above and below the line Format>Paragraph, Borders tab.

I have an issue with semi-transparent blocks. The main problem is in thin line between the "block" element and its pseudo element (before). This issue appears in every modern desktop browsers (Opera, Firefox, Chrome. Dont know about Safari, though).Code below:

The problem you are running into is due to the anti-aliased edges of the skewed elements sitting next to one another. The browser is doing its best to draw smooth, angled edges with pixels, and it uses various, lighter, more transparent shades of the background color you have designated, to give the illusion of a smooth edge. The "line" you are seeing is the lighter, more transparent pixels, which are allowing the white background of the document beneath, to shine through.

To implement some fancy round progress bars, I used an element with border radius and overflow:hidden. Everything looks fine, except one thing: all browsers display a thin line where the overflow ends.

since the layout isn't nearly as easy as the snippet above, i can't change the layout much.i guess the essential problem here is the browser's anti-aliasing, which i think is not alterable by css, or is it?

Note: I don't fully understand your example but for my situation I had a titlebar that was getting a white line around it (inside the border). This is an exaggeration with overflow-clip-margin: 5px but if it's only 2px then it matches with the blue border on the white box.

This seems possible without the overlay by using a background-image with multiple linear-gradients. The JavaScript to insert the two values into the combined linear-gradient is rather clunky as I wrote it hastily to prove the solution. It can be better!

Escherichia coli is a paradigm for a versatile bacterial species which comprises harmless commensal as well as different pathogenic variants with the ability to either cause intestinal or extraintestinal diseases in humans and many animal hosts. Because of this broad spectrum of lifestyles and phenotypes, E. coli is a well-suited model organism to study bacterial evolution and adaptation to different growth conditions and niches. The geno- and phenotypic diversity, however, also hampers risk assessment and strain typing. A marked genome plasticity is the key to the great variability seen in this species. Acquisition of genetic information by horizontal gene transfer, gene loss as well as other genomic modifications, like DNA rearrangements and point mutations, can constantly alter the genome content and thus the fitness and competitiveness of individual variants in certain niches. Specific gene subsets and traits have been correlated with an increased potential of E. coli strains to cause intestinal or extraintestinal disease. Intestinal pathogenic E. coli strains can be reliably discriminated from non-pathogenic, commensal, or from extraintestinal E. coli pathogens based on genome content and phenotypic traits. An unambiguous distinction of extraintestinal pathogenic E. coli and commensals is, nevertheless, not so easy, as strains with the ability to cause extraintestinal infection are facultative pathogens and belong to the normal flora of many healthy individuals. Here, we compare insights into phylogeny, geno-, and phenotypic traits of commensal and pathogenic E. coli. We demonstrate that the borderline between extraintestinal virulence and intestinal fitness can be blurred as improved adaptability and competitiveness may promote intestinal colonization as well as extraintestinal infection by E. coli.

I was trying to get rid of what appear to be stray or extra lines (indicated by the arrows) and used the CleanUp3 plugin, but found that the arrow (which I thought had become part of the fuselage), part of the canopy placement outline, and the wing outline disappear.

I have provided code and example for your tabular using both standard tabular environment, and using the package cals. The challenge is to avoid that the horizontal double rules between row 1 and row 2 overwrite the vertical lines. Be aware that the rules when using tabular and hhline may look different in different PDF-viewers.

Here is your tabular using tabular. I have avoided to overwrite the rules by using colortabl (through xcolor with table-option) and hhline. As you will see, the hhline-syntax are complicated. You may simplify the code in the preamble by the syntax * and the body by defining the complicated rules as commands. If you find the heavy rules too heavy, you may reduce \arrayrulewidth and \doublerulesep.

Here is a solution with NiceTabular of nicematrix. The package nicematrix provides tools to define commands and letter (for use in the preamble of the array) to draw rules with the specification of Tikz. In order to have a perfect junction of the rules, I have adjusted the behavior of \boldline with the Tikz parameters shorten > and shorten

Attached is a cross sectional view. As you can see the `I` beams are showing going in/out of the page but the ones going horizontally only show as a single line ( on the beams centre line ). Is there a reason for this? Is there a setting I can alter to get the full beam profile to be seen?

Thanks for the reply, it isn't that idea. What I have found is that the beam of the top floor is thin lined and the others are thick. No beam along the horizontal is cut in the sectional view so I'm a bit confused as to the different thickness especially as they are the same beam type.

If you want that with geometry you could do several things. If you don't need it to be a continuous mesh you can duplicate the object, and apply a Skin modifier to the new object, or a Wireframe modifier.

The principle cause is anti-aliasing, which is active by default. All pixels at edges of layers will get anti-aliased. The function changes both the color and the transparency (alpha) of edge pixels. This will lead to partially transparent edge pixels. Depending on background layers, this often creates a line of of pixel width in light colors shining through. This can be very distracting in case of seamless patterns.
