can you please fix the empty block cursor problem in putty? it is ultimately disturbing!

i understand that it is a side effect related to the re-parenting of the external window. but in v5.2.6 everything works find and i can't see any difference regarding the windows.

that sounds like an excuse to me

Should I open a separate thread for this, or a support ticket?
Or is this even a RoyalTS issue?
I can't find any mention of it here, at least: =simon%2Fputty.git&a=search&h=HEAD&st=commit&s=clip

HI all,
i was only able to embed 1 pic. please refer links
I successfully installed OpenWRT on my Xiaomi MiWiFi 3C using BREED. And I tried to revert to factory firmware. but it failed and my router never turned on and was not detected using the ethernet port. so I purchased USB to TTL CP2102 Connector and tried to connect to the serial port with putty. But I am getting blank putty screen.

so far as I know, there is no means of copying a selected area from the putty window to the Windows clipboard without using the mouse. there is a feature request on the putty site specifically for this functionality.

the only way to copy information from the putty window to the Windows clipboard with a keyboard shortcut is to use the app system menu "copy all to clipboard" (which you can invoke from alt-space, provided you set the "Window > Behavior > System menu appears on ALT-Space" option configured in putty.

A friend of mine has a hook in screen to copy the "screen clipboard" to one or both of the x clipboards (selection or clipboard) and I believe putty does the needed translations. I'll try to dig it up.

Hopefully hitting this key combination won't interfere with your session (or just Alt + Tab out and activate it from outside putty). I believe hitting 0 on the numpad starts a click lock, allowing you to drag over the portion of text you want to highlight/copy.

However, Putty can facilitate the reverse transmission of data from the remote side. If you're using a tool like Vim or Tmux to make keyboard based text selections, you can dump the output to a file, and (dating myself here) netcat to a putty reverse port tunnel to a local service which dumps input to the local clipboard.

Set your putty > connection > SSH > tunnels to forward R11311 to localhost:1234Use netcat as a listening server that pipes output to the windows 10 clip command which sends input to the windows clipboard. Wrap this in an eternal for loop like so:

Solvent putties such as Tamiya, Squadron, Bondo Red, etc harden by evaporation of the solvent. Applying too large a lump may not harden, or may take a while to harden throughout because a skin of dry putty forms over the rest of the putty. Heating the putty still needs a place for the solvent to go. Perhaps piercing the skin multiple places/times may help. Heating may also warp the surrounding plastic.

The speed of setting is one reason I like auto glazing/spot putty. The solvent is a fast evaporating one- smells about like lacquer thinner. I find it sets up in twenty to thirty minutes unless it is a very thick application.

Step 2: Create a public/private keypair and install the public key of the server. Do NOT set a password for the private key
You can find hints how to do it here:

(or google some more links - I am not allow to post more than two links here)
Check with putty that you can login to the server without the need for a password

I love polymer clay and I love silicone mold putty. In fact I recently explored the difference between two main brands of silicone mold putty, Easy Mold and Amazing Mold Putty. And if you work with polymer clay, sooner or later you begin to get curious about using silicone mold putty and begin to think about how it works with polymer clay. And if you can use them together. Here are two ways that you can use polymer clay with silicone mold putty.

You can use silicone mold putty to create a mold or texture sheet from some object or texture that you want to duplicate. For instance you have a small figurine that you want to duplicate in polymer clay. You would use the mold putty to create a mold from the figurine. Then put polymer clay into the cured silicone mold to create a polymer duplicate of your figurine.

I cut out a circle of every brand of polymer clay that I had on hand and arranged them on a ceramic tile. I used Sculpey Original, Super Sculpey, Sculpey III, Premo, Souffle, Kato Polyclay, Cernit, Fimo Soft, and Pardo. All colors tested were white except for Super Sculpey (which is a pinkish-beige color) and the Cernit and Pardo which I only had in translucent. I then mixed up some Amazing Mold Putty and some Easy Mold and put a little ball of the uncured mold putty on the uncured polymer clay circle. Then I waited for them to cure (about 30 minutes or a bit more). I ran the same test on cured circles of the same polymer clays.

I see no reason to expect that cured silicone molds will cause any softness or problems when used to create a polymer clay cast. So feel free to use mold putty for making molds and texture sheets that you will use with polymer clay. This is a time-tested method and works very well.
Email is the best way
to get updatesYou will LOVE getting this email, which is packed full of polymer clay goodness. About once a week.
