GENERAL SUMMARY
Design and troubleshoot complete SCADA / DCS system. Coordinate between various facility disciplines. Review Contractor and Vendor documents. Prepare bid packages, cost and manpower estimates.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide SCADA / DCS engineering expertise and design services for oil process industry such as pipe line, pump stations and Marine Terminal, Etc.
2. Ability to analyze and determine correct installations for DCS, PLC, MLC, ACS, etc.
3. Troubleshoot to determine faults due to hardware or software failures.
4. Knowledge of Digital Logic Techniques with ability to analyze emergency shutdown system.
5. Assist Maintenance and operations in testing & commissioning activities & provide training to fellow Engineers.
6. Provide technical leadership in development of less experienced Engineers.
INDEPENDENCE OF OPERATIONS
Devices work in most professional, organized method, are a team player, and shall adhere to KJO policies and requirements.
PHYSICAL EFFORT 7 WORK ENVIROMENT
Exposed to Moderate dirt, Heat and other operating machinery noise, grease and oil. Work on MS-Office programs. Has a Saudi driver license or able to obtain one.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. BS Electric / Electronic Engineering Graduate.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience DCS / SCADA & Instrument Engineering (Design, Construction, Testing and Commissioning in Oil or Similar Process Industry).
3. Must be familiar with analog and smart pressure, temperature, flow and level instruments manufactured by leading suppliers.
4. Candidate must be familiar with PI, NEC, ISA, and IEEE.
5. Capable of preparing conceptual designs with cost estimates.
6. Fluency in English.
7. Knowledge of MS-Office.
