Hi Rebekah,

Just copying to all our members. It's unusual for bees to come inside.
Are you sure they are honey bees? Do you have a picture?

Do they fly around inside?

It should happen if they are nesting in a wall cavity and they
accidently find a way into the house.

Aidan.

Do you think they could be looking to nest? Should I be concerned in the case they do and what should I look out for? The numbers keep shrinking but then growing.

Thanks for answering this Aidan.

Just so you all know, I have decided to no longer keep bees, and they have recently gone to a good home at The Castle Climbing Centre, cared for by Sean Hearn. As most of you know, I became increasingly disenchanted with conventional bee-keeping practice, and then questioned why I was keeping bees at all. I have become much more interested in the vast world of other insects, and believe that keeping bees might actually be harmful to some of these other creatures.

Best Wishes,
Sally
