Many beekeepers melt, filter and exchange wax with foundation manufacturers such as KBS.
This page on the Thorne website demonstrates the exchange prices.
The broader picture is that clean UK beeswax is in short supply, due mainly to the popularity of beekeeping. If you ask Peter Kemble at KBS he will repeat what he said to me last week: ‘I can’t get enough if it’.
You may find that a local London beekeeper has a small amount which they would be willing to part with, but it does depend on the amount you need.
