Mr. Gulia was in his final year of training at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, when he suffered a grievous personal accident while crossing an obstacle course. With fractured spine his body was paralyzed neck down and he faced the prospect of wheel-chair bound life far removed from the steel and adventure of the soldier’s life he had dreamt of and trained for.  But he did not allow this accident to stop him from having aspirations and accomplishing them. With a single minded focus and determination he turned his disabilities into strengths.
