The Bachelor of Commerce programme at Banasthali Vidyapith aims to prepare women commerce professionals who possess the usual strong value system of the Vidyapith and a strong foundation in areas of Accountancy & Finance, Economics & Banking, Statistics and IT.
State Bank of India has given a generous one-time philanthropic grant to partially fund the School of Commerce & Banking at Banasthali Vidyapith; which will be named as SBI School of Commerce and Banking.
Career avenues and our approach: Tied up with ICICI Bank for e-learning courses in banking which can be pursued by the commerce students. We shall prepare interested students for Bank P.O. examination as well. Facilities would be made available for preparing for CAT also. We have tied up with IBM for Business Analytics course, and similarly would rope in corporate sector right from beginning to ensure good placements offers during summers and final placements. Financial Planning is also another emerging career avenue. Over and above students would be prepared for CA, CS etc. as well. We are in process of tie-up with KPMG, E&Y, Banks, Deloitte etc. for grooming the students and campus jobs.
Students would have to identify their focus area out of above mentioned opportunities and work with full energy to achieve the goal.
