7.30 - 10.00 PM.    (Light Dinner will be served prior to the event from 6.30 - 7.30 pm )

Ekal - Education and Empowement

A non profit organization actively working in India to provide basic education in very remote n rural parts of India. Our main goal is to remove illiteracy and overall empowerment of rural India. 

Ekal schools are 1 classroom schools run by 1 teacher in 1 village and the cost to run such schools is JUST 1 dollar per day. 

Donate $365 to sponsor one school.

You can sponsor as many schools as you can. 

Currently we have more than 68 K schools educating 1.7 million children.  

Over the period of 30 years ekal has grown and developed many branches such as Tailoring Centers, Mobile Computer labs (Ekal on Wheels), Gramotthan Centers (GRCs), and newer focus on Rural Health (HFRI).
