Build steps.

Hi Selva,
Next you checkout the source code from ekalappai svn using instructions given in this page:

http://code.google.com/p/ekalappai/source/checkout

Once you have checked out, you should be able to
1. compile ekhook dll using visual c++ express edition editor
2. compile the ekalappai.exe using qt creator IDE (which I hope you have installed along with QT SDK)
3. once you get dll and exe created, you can create installer using nsis script ekalappai-installer-script.nsi under installer folder

Please let me know if you face any difficulties.

I have checked out the source successfully. And I could able to build the DLL and EXE as instructed in the previous mail. I didn’t try to create installer.

 

Can somebody get me some reference to get familiar with the code.

Good that you have made successful build.

I havent yet prepared a detailed code document.  To start understanding the code, I would suggest start working on one simple issue from our issues list: http://code.google.com/p/ekalappai/issues/list

Please choose one issue and let me know your specific doubts.
