Hello,
My name is Wes, and I wanted to find out about the next meetup for the Java group in Edmonton. I am with a company called Doc9 Business Solutions, we are a staffing company and I wanted to inquire about sponsorship at your events. I'm wondering when the next one is, and if you would be interested in help along the lines of catering for the event, or to find a place to meet for example.
We do have some Java opportunities right now and if anyone related to the group is interested in talking with me, I'd be pleased to meet with them.
Beyond that, I am interested in where the Java language has come since I was last working in it a few years back, when I switched to .NET. I'm interested to attend the next meeting even to see what people are doing these days with the technology!
