Introduction: I am a Mechanical Engineer in the Automation industry who programs Allen Bradley PLC's. Most programming I have used elsewhere is with Python. My experience with C++ is limited.

I am hoping to get into contact with someone that has had some success using the OpENer repo to create an EIP adapter for an ESP32 processor. I am trying to create a RIO hub using the GPIO on common ESP32 boards. I am assuming applications of this repo have been discussed somewhere, I am just hoping to me pointed in the right direction.

Once the integration is finished, I plan on putting together a how-to guide so that users can easily integrate OpENer into these types of boards.

Thanks!

Hi,

sounds like a very nice project, please keep me updated on it. ESP support has been discussed several times, unfortunately I dont have one with a LAN interface , but only WLAN interfaces (not sure if EIP is suited/specified for WLAN).
I assume you already found https://www.esp32.com/viewtopic.php?t=32162 for example?

Cheers
