OpENer for Motor Control

Hi OpeENer friends,

We recently purchased an Ethernet/IP motor driver and want to build a C++ controller for it that we can run on a host x86_64/ARM machine. 

We came across OpENer but since we're new to the Ethernet/IP stack, is OpENer the right library for the task? 

Appreciate any advice!

Hi Keshav,

unfortunately not. OpENer is for building devices like your motor driver. You need to look for a scanner. There has allready been quite some discussion on this
topic in this list.

Many thanks! Apologies, indeed you probably get this question a lot. Is there a way to pin this thread on the group - I searched "motion control", "motor" but didnt get many results. Could help people in their search
