Respected sir / madam,

Kindly help me to solve the following problems. This for my academic interest.

1.A student is allowed to select atmost n books from a collection of 2n+1 books. If the total number of ways in which a student can select atleast one book is 63. Then n is ????

2.Let an object be placed at some height h cm and let p and q be two of observation which are at a distance 10 cm apart on a line inclined at an angle 15 degrees to the horizontal. If the angles of elevation of the object from p and q are 30 degree and 60 degree respectively. Then h is ?????

Since I’m preparing for ISAT 2011 examination kindly refer me the books and study material related to the above mentioned exam. This will be very useful lfor me.
