Safari browser: eiffel.org forum links don't load

On the eiffel.org website there is a section with links to this group in the "Recent posts" section titled with "Forum". When I click on such a link it opens website rss.app which then displays a countdown titled "Opening article in". But when this countdown is at 00:00 nothing happens!

This is on macOS, iPadOS and iOS in the Safari browser. On Windows with the Edge browser it works correctly. Is this a "wrong" setting on my side? Can anyone confirm this?

I already reported this months ago with the contact form on eiffel,.org but got no reply...
