Start of Eiffel Technical Committee Election - Eligible Candidates

Dear Eiffel Community,

Eiffel Bootstrap Technical Committee (BTC) met on March 25, 2021 and agreed to move to an elected Technical Committee (TC) as documented in the charter. [0][1]

This mail announces the start of the 2021 Election Period for Eiffel Community as documented in the charter. [2]

As preparation for the election, we have documented the list of eligible candidates to run in the Eiffel TC election. [3]
According to the charter, anyone who is a maintainer of one or more projects hosted by Eiffel Community is eligible to run for a seat in Eiffel Technical Committee or nominate another maintainer as a candidate. [4]
Consequently, the list of eligible candidates is determined by membership in any of the maintainers groups in the Eiffel Community in the GitHub organization [5].

We encourage and appreciate community review of the list of candidates.
If you think a community member is missing in eligible candidate list but should have been included, please respond to this mail by April 1, 2021, 13:00UTC and ask for inclusion of the individual in the list together with a list of past contributions to the community.
Eiffel BTC will then consider this request and amend the list of eligible candidates accordingly.
