Check for blocked eID cards

Hi

We are currently developing a new ASP.NET application which is able to read an eID using the software of an external partner.
However, we would also like to check whether the eID is blocked before the eID is read.
The site https://www.checkdoc.be provides the possibility to perform this check (and more), but it does not provide a web service?
Is there a web service of the government we could call to perform this check?
If not: are there any other options to perform this check this in our web application?

Hi,

Checking some old mails, I notice that this hasn't been replied to yet.

There isn't a web API; however, you can use OCSP to check the status of
the certificates on the card. If the ID card has been reported as lost
or something similar, then its certificates will be marked as revoked.
The OCSP server will report this.
