Remplacement Applet EID

Bonjour,

 

Je dois effectuer pour un site internet, le remplacement de l’applet eid.

Elle est utilisée seulement pour récupérer les informations personnelles d'une carte EID. Il n'est pas question d'authentification dans mon cas.

J’ai vu qu’il existait différents plugins mais je n’ai pas trouvé le moyen de les utiliser depuis un site web.

 

Pourriez-vous m’indiquer ce qu’il faut utiliser pour récupérer ces informations personnelles contenues dans une carte EID depuis un site web  ?

As a stopgap measure, we've implemented drag-and-drop functionality in
the eid viewer which allows people to copy their identity information
from the viewer onto a web page by initiating a drag-and-drop operation
from the photo.

Les plugins par navigateur (chrome ou firefox) ne sont pas fiables aujourd'hui pour les utiliser coté site Web ?

Hi Stephane,

I'm sure a plugin is a possibility, but we have a limited amount of
time, and do not have sufficient resources to develop something like that.

We are aware that the proposed solution with the drag-and-drop
functionality is suboptimal. However, the advantage of the drag-and-drop
operation is that it is something which we could implement in a fairly
short amount of time, whereas proper browser plugins would have taken
more time and resources to develop.

Le plugin pour Firefox a l'air fonctionnel, par contre ce n'a pas l'air d'être le cas pour ceux de chrome.
Existe t-il une page de test pour l'identification ?

Hi Stephane,

For clarity, the applet allows several things:
- Sign data with the card. There is no replacement for this functionality.
- Authenticate against the card. For this, you can use the eID
middleware and do mutual SSL instead of using the applet. For testing,
you can use http://test.eid.belgium.be/
- Read identity data off the card, and verify (by validating the RRN
signature) that the data is correct. This isn't possible with the XML
drag-and-drop functionality (since the signature data isn't in the XML
file), but if all you need is a way to make it easier for people to
enter their identity information, then the viewer drag-and-drop thing
that I pointed to earlier may suffice. There is a proof-of-concept
implementation that shows how it works in the xml directory in the
eid-viewer github repository.

As to the plugins: there is indeed a firefox add-on, but it only exists
to automatically install the PKCS#11 crypto module which is needed for
authenticating with mutual SSL. It isn't strictly required if you know
how to do that manually, but doing so requires that you go to
preferences->advanced->security devices, and then manually enter a
shared library; this is far too complex for the average user, which is
why we wrote the add-on.

There is no such add-on required for chrome, because it just picks up
the security modules installed in the operating system -- except under
Linux, where a manual step is required.

At any rate, these plugins allow mutual SSL, but they do not allow
reading identity data from the card.
