where are all the sdk examples?

Years ago I had a project in which I used the eid SDK.

I am now looking into this again for another project. However, it seems next to impossible to find a simple working solution anywhere. 

I remember clearly that an SDK was available with demo code for different programming languages.

Does this no longer exist? 

I have come across links from the official sources to no longer existing pages, very difficult to understand public repositories, mystic errors building the official stuff...

Most github projects are over 10 years old.  It is sad to see that support for this is still as lacking as back then
