Hello,

Since we implemented smartcard authentication for our windows domain, we are facing issues regarding the "save as" function in the eID viewer.

I takes 1 - 2 minutes before the .eid file is saved in the selected location. (Tried already with different computers/users/folders). No issues with reading the eID card.
Also, saving the .eid file is only possible the first time when starting the eID viewer. When trying for a second time to save the file, the file is not saved. You really need to restart the application to save a second time.

We receive no error messages. The workaround currently is to wait 1-2 minutes after saving the .eid file before the file becomes visible in the selected folder. No big big issue, but annoying fore our secretaries.

Maybe/hopefully there is another structural solution for this problem?

Thanks in advance and Kind Regards,
Pieter

Hello Pieter,

Could you test and send me the viewer log with the beta download of the eID Viewer (https://eid.belgium.be/en/future-versions-eid-software-and-eid-viewer)
and with the log level of the eID Viewer set to detail?
Feel free to blank out all personal data in there (from when reading the card).

And send the pkcs11 log as well? (see https://eid.belgium.be/en/technical-documentation#7483)
To disable logging afterwards, just remove the key again, or put "error" in stead of "debug", to only log errors

Thank you,
 Frederik
