Situation: We have a web application where sellers can make offers for
customers.

We want to integrate eID into that application so the seller can
easily get the customer's name, address,...

Our first idea was to use the eID Identity provider (our web app is
classic asp/asp.net). But we already have a identity provider running
on our application to authenticate the sellers (not eid).
Is it possible to implement eID IdP as a second identity provider, or
do we have to consider a different approach?

Hi Kim,

Nothing prevents you from putting a kind of "proxy IdP" between your web applications and the actual IdPs.
So the proxy IdP gives a screen where you select the token type: username/password or eID.
And then the proxy IdP redirect to the concrete token IdP like the eID IdP, or your existing IdP solution.

Kind Regards,
Frank.
