EIANZ ACT has just announced a workshop on biodiversity offsets to be held next week (see posts below). This is probably one of the most majorly topical issues for biodiversity management in the world and should be of interest to anyone who works as an ecologist and practises biodiversity management and EIA. Presentations will be done by some of the leading experts in the subject. There will also be a presentation by ACT and the Commonwealth on their draft policies. Other similar policies are being drafted by other states.
