Development of Ecological Impact Assessment Guidelines and INTECOL

We are pleased to announce that a draft consultation document "Ecological Impact Assessment - Towards the development of EcIA Guidelines for Australia and New Zealand" has been completed, with forewords by Professor Mark Burgman and Dr Chris McGrath. EcIA and the production of guidelines will be discussed in a special professional development workshop with EIANZ SEQ and EIANZ Ecology, at the INTECOL conference in Brisbane on Saturday 15th August. "Breaking the Barriers" Symposium Results

The EIANZ Ecology website has recently been updated with the results of the first day of the EIANZ SEQ "Breaking the Barriers" Symposium. 

Australian Commonwealth Biodiversity Strategy

EIANZ Ecology submitted a letter to the Commonwealth with recommendations to improve their draft strategy for biodiversity. The final submission can be downloaded here .
