Subject: [SOS Doha] Appeal for assistance
To: SOS Doha < sos...@yahoogroups.com >

There is an appeal to assist financially Mrs. Uma Balakrishnan ( 50 + ) who is suffering from a rare heart ailment. She requires "replacement of valve" and correction of blood circulation to the heart (which is said to be a rare kind of heart disease according to Dr. Shivakadaksham, a heart specialist in Chennai). She has been admitted in Harvey Super Speciality Hospital in Chennai. As she is unable to move by road or any mode of transport, she could not be taken to Super Speciality Hospitals at Bangalore or Puttaparthi where free treatment could be done. The estimated cost of the surgery comes to Rs 4 lacs.

I know the family very well way back in Madurai and her father late Mr. Natarajan was employed by Madurai Meenakshi Temple Trust under the State Government. With very limited means he managed to get his only daughter married to Mr. Balakrishnan, a small time business person. Unfortunately, the business went broke with heavy losses and the family underwent lot of problems . The couple has no children and there is no other person to take care of them within the family circle. Hence this appeal for financial support .

I would request our Sai fraternity to extend a helping hand to the couple in distress.
Your contribution towards this will save a life.

However it is purely voluntary.

NB : Anybody willing to contribute any amount may please hand over the same to their respective Bala Vikas teacher at the respective centers.
