Windows Setup CD or ISO image of the same Windows version is required to make a Windows Key password reset CD or USB drive. If you do not have a Windows Setup CD, you can request a Windows Key ISO download.
The most probable cause is that your SCSI or RAID hard-disk drive controller is not supported by the standard Windows Setup CD used to create a password reset disk. Please download additional drivers for your RAID/SCSI controller at the hardware vendor website. Specify the downloaded driver while creating a password reset ISO image file, and Windows Key will copy it on the image.

As per subject - if I get a used/preowned Fortigate without knowing admin-level password and maintainer feature/account disabled, is there an alternative to getting admin access to such Fortigate/resetting it to factory defaults (no need to get the configuration)?
Jack i think i found out the problem it because i didn't read the manual (my bad), i think this doesn't need a win 10 fresh install so i didn't use rufus or ventoy, i have windows 10 already installed on my system and just download AME wizard+playbook, install it, then i got this password issue, i try to reset the password but it give me 3 question 1.what was your childhood name? ,2 what's the name of the city you were born? , 3 what's the name of the first school you attended? (please i think this only hope i can login) :(

I think that having an easy to figure out master password that can be easily calculated is a big problem. I believe that you should need 1) physical access, such as a reset button, and 2) that it should wipe all settings. This way, a casual person scanning the network can't get in, and two that the person using the device will hopefully notice that all settings have been wiped.
