Hi contemporaries,

I trust that all is well and that our strength in Nation Building is almost in the sky.

I am currently grant-managing about 32 projects (Health, Education, Livelihood and Child protection interventions) implemented by 22 different partners (CBOs and local NGOs) spread across Nairobi, Turkana, Machakos, Kwale and Siaya counties in Kenya.

My strategic direction (moving into 2015 and beyond) is to focus on Child Protection projects with specific focus on Child labour, CSEC, Child trafficking and systems strengthening. My preference is to work with the current partners more as consortium rather than individual implementers. I would like to work with these partners to develop either thematic or geographical alliances for obvious reasons.

Is anyone doing this already? Are there any sample practical reference materials that i can peruse? Any ideas on how this should best be structured, operational standards, best practices and/or any ToRs on local alliance building? Kindly share with me.

Kind regards,
