During the recently held eHealth Week in Dublin, the Greek Delegation announced its intention to organize the next High-level eHealth Conference and associated events under the Greek Presidency: In May 2014, Greece will welcome you to the eHealth Forum. The introduction of the concept of "eHealth ecosystems" by the Irish Presidency presents a true challenge for the further development of meaningful partnerships engaging the entire range of health, wellbeing and social care stakeholders, comprising both the Private and the Public Sector and creating mutually beneficial collaborations between the industry, the academia and the informed end users.

eHealth Week 2013, the largest annual gathering of pan-European eHealth communities, has ended having hosted two main events: the High Level eHealth Conference, co-organized by the European Commission and Irish Government as holder of the Presidency of the European Union, and WoHIT (World of Health IT Conference & Exhibition) organized by HIMSS Europe.

Birmingham Telecare Service Celebrates First Anniversary

eHealth Irish Presidency Declaration (Publication)
EU Health Ministers, meeting in Dublin at the Ministerial eHealth High Level Conference organised jointly by the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the European Commission, today agreed a Declaration on eHealth presented by the Irish Presidency. The Declaration is aimed at prioritising the use of ICT in health among Member States to contribute to better, safer, sustainable and innovative healthcare systems for all European citizens.

Agfa HealthCare - First Quarter 2013
Agfa HealthCare's revenue remained almost stable versus last year's first quarter. Excluding currency effects, the business group posted a slight revenue increase. In the IT segment, both the Imaging IT business and the Enterprise IT business performed strongly. The segment posted strong growth figures in North America, Latin America and the North of Europe.

Helse Sør-Øst (HSØ), Norway, Awards Eight-Year Contract for Carestream's IT Solutions
