search api migration from ehcache 2.x to 3.x

Hi , I am trying to upgrade ehcache from 2.x to 3.10 but did not find any search api's , in case if this feature is dropped in 3.x , can anyone point me to any documentation which says that this search feature is removed and also help me to provide alternative solutions.

There may not be a statement in the Ehcache 3 docs… but you can consider this email authoritative.

 

Ehcache 3.x does not support search. The best alternative solution would be to adopt some form of K/V database/storage solution.

Is there any alternative solution for search criteria after upgrading to ehcache 3.x version.
