Introductions from new members

I am not sure that as new members join, their introductions have been
posted to the whole group (perhaps only I was receiving these as
Google Group manager). Therefore I am copying the latest message from
our most recent member, Agnieszka, who will be attending the workshop.
A warm welcome to her!

She writes: "I am a student of the fourth (almost fifth) year of
archaeology at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. I am interested
in egyptology, especially in the late prehistory and early history of
Egypt. What is more, I would like to focus on the beginnings of
writing in Egypt, but as far as now, I do not have much experience in
this topic, so I think this workshop will be very helpful for me. With
