EgyGeeks next gathering is tomorrow

Hello everybody,

Just wanted to give you a quick update on our next gathering tomorrow.

We'll have the meeting in the same time like last week.

Tomorrow Friday, April 16, at 11:59 PM.

The gathering will have the same style as the last onee:

- The first 30 minutes will be a session: Jquery for ASP.NET Developers, by me

- The following 30 minutes will be an open talk, mainly around: Visual Studio 2010 Enhancements

So far we agreed to have the gathering the same way like last week (Using WEBEX website).

We'll send you the URL by the exact time or the gathering, via the newly created EgyGeeks twitter account.

why Jquery ?, is that selection depends on the survey ?

Yes,

We got 75% requesting .NET topics, 50% requesting jQuery (it was a multi-choice thing). so, the guys said I should repeat my CairoCodeCamp 2010 session. 

This is the second time to get that request for this session. First time I asked Ayman to speak about SharePoint instead. Second time I thought it'd be ugly to reject twice, especially that the original CairoCodeCamp 2010 session was not recorded anyway.

most guys said that we need BI and Sharepoint.

That's true. I think Ayman put jquery because it was mentioned in the very first gathering as i told you. The unplanned one, which led later to the first planned one, which u r referring to, then we got the 50% votes for it.

Not sure if it adds anything here to explicitly mention: it wasn't my idea at all. I even escaped from the session in the first gathering although asked to, because i'm personally more into open talk in this than sessions...
