Jozefino: Kie estas Kruko ĉi-matene?
Amando: Li diris ke li volis ellitiĝi frue hodiaŭ.
Jozefino: Kial?
Joĉjo: Li volis ekfari la unuan aferon sur sia listo de farendaĵoj.
Jozefino miras: Ĉu vere? Kio estis la unua afero sur lia far-listo?
Amando kaj Joĉjo: Siesti.

Josephine enters the kitchen, where little Johnny and teenage Amanda are already sitting.
Josephine: "Where is Dad (Kruko) this morning?"
Amanda: "He said that he wanted to get up early today."
Josephine: "Why?"
Johnny: "He wanted to begin on the first item on his to-do list."
Josephine gapes: "Really? What was the first thing on his to-do list?"
Amanda and Johnny: "Take a nap."
