Eta Joĉjo tranĉas por si pecon da ĉokoladkuko.
Lia fratino, adoleska Amando, vidas tion: Joĉjo! Vi estas egoista! Vi jam prenis tri tranĉaĵojn da kuko.
Joĉjo: Mi agnoskas ke mi havas egoisman flankon. Sed ekzistas alia flanko de mi kiu estas malegoisma kaj komplezema.
Amando: Do?
Joĉjo: Do, ĉi tiu kukpeco estas por li!

Little Johnny cuts himself a piece of chocolate cake.
His sister, teenage Amanda, sees it: "Johnny! You are selfish! You've already taken three slices of cake!"
Johnny: "I admit that I have a selfish side. But there's another side to me which is unselfish and pleasing."
Amanda: "So?"
Johnny: "So, this piece of cake is for him!"
