perhaps i better try and map which of its members are in either ny or dc and try to work out if any of their networks have ever supported yunus; i still want to plant a micro yunus book club cell inside any space that might have energy to do something human

world commission financing microentrepreneurs? stockmarkets of SBs?
if the gambit for keeping in the conversation of social stockmarket or world commission financing of grassroots entrepreneurs seems to be to get some recognised sponsors in capital cities to co-publish a simple leaflet on what social business is which yunus approves of, I wonder which new york group do we want - do we want a conference board, a demos, a ted.com, a rockfeller . a???

WE
I also wonder what a world entrepreneur (WE) summit or network subclub in new york could comprise - and how do mark's exclusive video replays fit in- as well as the number 1 challenge of our age when 5 people in dhaka have the models and map to sustain the world how do they share them with those of 6.5 billion who want to. I am desperately waiting mark's 1 hour film of that http://www.youtube.com/user/caplinski

Yunus Transatlantic Forum for Future Capitalism
basically how do we start uppping the tavern crowd into a thinktank where yunus would want to join in; in my dad's days it was things outside new york like hudson institute when herman kahn led that; who's the big  dinner club host who wants to change capitalism with yunus out of new york and how can we own enough that they want to work with us- feedback from first 1000 passionate velievers in yunus book http://www.smbaworld.com/id8.html should be worth something as should the mindboggling idea that the www is suddenly going to be quizzed by 10000 village telecenters for all the grounded community knowledge that has never been debated openly before...say if you need dhaka prospectus on that and havent had it yet

Womens Hemispheres Faceoff

Its that time of the broadcasting year again when Americans will fundraise $100 mn and give it to global NGOs -and its largely Brits who do this image-making -Boo Broadcasting Coo

Dear Chris

Space ... yes. Great space ... probably not. I believe SEEP NETWORK is
an outgrowth of the Washington consensus, and as I alerted sometime in
the last 48 hours, they are launching a Social Performance Map at an
event in Washington on the 28th April.

In order to brief myself on the "competition" I plan on coming to the
event and I have joined the SEEP NETWORK to know what I am dealing
with. I am not sure yet where I have met Mary McVay ... it could be
any number of places including the microfinance networks in New York.

SEEP goes back quite a long time ... the McVay initiative is
potentially a much better website than some of the others that are
addressing development issues ... however, it is a top down effort and
I am really not very optimistic about it. However, I will keep an open
mind.
