Hi,

Some of you are doing well and some not so
well...hope it turns out great for everyone.
Round 8 is huge huge, most monies are
made now.

We will now do Comp-XM (competency
examination). Comp-XM is designed along the
concept of Balanced Scorecard.

Here you would run a business (far too
simpler and miniaturized as compared to
Capstone) of your own, INDIVIDUALLY as CEO.

Comp - XM is OPEN upto 17th August...please
complete it during this time window.

Please log in at www.capsim.com, click on
Comp-XM. Then on Downloads. Here you will be
able to download Comp-XM software...it is
similar to Casptone software. You will also
be able to download the Comp-XM guide...

Please go through the Comp-XM guide. Then,
launch the Comp-XM software. You would see
The Enquirer for round 0, (Enquirer is
Capstone Courier's equivalent in Comp-XM).
Based upon The Enquirer for round 0 you shall
make decisions in the Comp-XM software for
round 1 and also answer Board Queries 1 on
www.capsim.com under Exam Dashboard.

Now you would move to round 2. Here, based
upon The Enquirer for round 1 you would run
the business for round 2 in the software and
answer Board queries 2.

There are total four rounds in the software.
Based upon The Enquirer for round 4 you would
answer FINAL BOARD QUERY.

You would see your scores in following
Balanced Scorecard criteria:

- Finance
- Customer
- Internal Business Process
- Learning and Innovation

The Exercise is self paced. At a stretch it
may take 5-6hrs.

Please make sure you TURN IN Comp-XM
submissions before the deadline.

Minimum expected score is above 500 out of
1000 and a score above 800 is considered
outstanding.

There is also a prize for top performers.

With best regards,

Dharam

Dear Prof. Dharam,

Thank you for confirming that Comp-XM will be open till 20th Aug. That gives us some time to work on this and other assignments with us for this week.

FYI. The original mail that we received below had mentioned this as 17th Aug.

Rgds,

Vinod
