Hello. In the midst of irreligiousness and secularism, my friends in the west are uncertain about who we are. I feel sorry for their enormous misapprehension. The tiptop false allegation which they often throw at us is of course women. Your religion tells you to mistreat, suppress and subjugate women. I like it so much when they promote such a proclamation. Before I go on with this, I must initially note my admoration to the British culture. I may disegree with my friends Colin and Harvey, but I respect their perspective. To be quite plain though, I am not a critical debater and it is not my virtual intention to engage in provocative conversations with anyone despite the substantial attempts to urge me to do so, Smile). I am here to keenly demonstrate my standpoint. It is a standpoint which aims to clarify why religion and why Islam in particular. At its inception, I must send my unfeigned greetings and gratitudes to the moderator, mr.  Terry Robinson. I would like to sincerely thank him for generously tolerating the variation and the roughly strident nature of my posts. Before we criticize or object anything, we may need to remind ourselves of what the starting point was. I am attempting to facilitate a moderate portrait of my faith and culture. As I just articulated, I love and respect the British culture, I love listening to Westminster. The story today reflects the combination of a western Muslim journalist, an emancipated British woman, Lauren Booth and she is the celebrity, she is Tony Blair’s sister-in-law. I am not expecting you to sit there and applaud to the story. You may dislike this, you may think it is a mere exaggeration and you may think it is insignificant. I met with sister Lauren here in Cairo in 2012 when she gave a similar lecture at the Saladin Citadel. It was a Friday and what a blessed day it truly was. When she was asked if she had seen Tony Blair, she replied yes and she wholeheartedly prayed for his guidance. Well again, I anticipate that MR. Harvey may mock and joke about this. I won’t go on in debating. I am only here to share not clash. I just would like to ask my respected friend Colin to kindly spell the term Muslim correctly. It is spelled the way I wrote it in the text above. Now, quick notes on what was written in response. The Satanic verses. Please Colin, you may provide theologically reliable sources to support your stance on the controversy. I never heard from reliable sources that a text was once in the Koran and then withdrawn. It is a useless discussion in my humble opinion. The Koran is the Koran, it doesn’t change. It never was and it certainly never will. It is divinely preserved. Allah preserves its existence with His unparalleled Omnipotence. You must learn to speak.  Yes, you must prerequisitely acquire the tools of developing the knowledge. It has nothing to do with having an opinion. You can speak whatever you want about Islam but at the end of the day, I am afraid, it is just your opinion and it doesn’t exceed to any further recognition. People from different backgrounds and cultural levels have quite ranging opinions about Islam but their opinions are basically dismissed in the theological community until they successfully attain the knowledge which is necessary to recognize what they say as worthy of esteem. It is a critical analogy if you will speak at the subjects of Medicine, Engineering, Political science, Journalism, English and so on. You first must hold a prestigious degree in the field and then, what you will have to say will be looked after by the specialists in that particular major. The gate is widely open for anyone who wants to learn. People learn and religion is a field of knowledge and indeed, a quite deep and thorough knowledge. I welcome and respect all opinions ranging from the traditional like me to the liberal like Colin and Harvey. In addition to violence and aggression, if you would like to know why such things tend to repeatedly occur quite often in our Arabian region, you may read with attention the textbook I sent out yesterday. The link to the story is located in the bottom of this body. Thank you for your attention, time and courtesy.
