I have made a service that reads new emails from my email and does operations on it, it should be running as a windows service but the problem is that the very first time you run the app it prompts a google access authentication, only once. I can run it as console app once, authenticate and then run it unlimited number of times without the need to authenticate, but when running the project as a windows service the app won't work because there is no prompt window to authorize the access, anyone has an idea or a source that could help me?

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1.I cleared all cookies and all browser history. 2 I went to gmail.com and entered my ID, my password, and my 2FA code. 3. In fact, I tried this several ways, Youtube 2FA, Google Authenticator 2FA.

Reproduces how often:
So far, every time I clear all the cookies from gmail, I am able to start the normal log-in process. But after completing the login process, gmail does NOT open properly the way it does on Edge. Instead, I get the Error 400 page.

I am in the process of eliminating Outlook for users that prefer to use Gmail website, but that is one feature that I haven't been able to get working. Whenever you go into excel/word and select email as attachment, it will try to open a non-existent outlook profile. I have been able to map links to gmail no problem... but Windows has no knowledge of gmail at all. Is there any plugin for chrome or gmail that can be used instead? Does windows 7/8.1 come with anything that lets you map email to Gmail?

If you are going to be on gmail, you need to get your users to also embrace using drive and have a training course for a web based email client. Trying to appease the request is not going with the strength of your chosen tool set. We went through these growing pains. We tried weening folks off, but at some point you just have to say, "We're going to do it like this now."

That tvhgooglemapi might be something to look into. I really don't like the mapi4gmail.com and affixa option which require a yearly renewal or extremely overpriced cost for a non-subscription license.

When you open gmail in the browser there should be an icon by the star there. looks something like . just click that. here is a good link: -gmail-as-browser-default-email-client-ht Opens a new window

Hi. When I attempt to email a pdf from within nitro pro, it says there is no email app associated with Nitro. Going to windows settings and apps, I can't find a way to associate gmail as the email program for nitro to use. Would appreciate step by step guidance.

The email client that opens up when you click an email link is actually based on your computer's default mail client settings and not HubSpot Sales. You can update your default mail client in your Control Panel if you are using Windows: -windows-8-default-email-client/

Upon creating the account in Tbird it finds the config in the Mozilla database but it continues to come back and say "Unable to log in at server". There are only two things to add, gmail address and password and I have double and triple checked that they are correct. I cannot get any further.

I have exactly the same problem, but the solution doesn't work:Remove all items in Options/Privacy & Security/Passwords/Saved Passwords > OKCheck that cookies are allowed in TB Options/Privacy & Security > OKcheck that the authentication for the incoming and outgoing servers is OAuth2 (should be done automatically when adding a new account)>OKrestart TB and enter the (confirmed working) account password in the OAuth browser window, where you grant TB access. > This part doesn't work at all. The password is good, verified twice. I always get the same result: TB is unable to connect to gmail, messaging that either the configuration (automated), the user ID (...) or the password (checked again and again) are probably incorrect.Quite a problem... It is not as if Gmail was not used as an email provider...Thanks in advance for any answerBest
