EggSPEED - BAFANG programing app for ANDROID

What it is: EggSPEED is a modern companion app for Bafang BBS01 / BBS02 / BBSHD e-bike mid-drive UART motor controllers.
The app connects to the controller via a USB OTG programming cable (directly from the phone, no extra hardware needed) and shows everything you'd normally see on the factory display - and more.
Key features:
- Live dashboard - speed, power (W), battery level (%), current, voltage, brake status
- Ride stats - total distance, trip distance, average speed, average and actual energy usage (Wh/km), estimated range
- Display-style controls - change assist level (0-9), toggle the light
- Full controller configuration readout - Basic, Pedal Assist, and Throttle parameters read directly from the controller's memory
- Controller identification - manufacturer, model, hardware/firmware versions, max voltage and current
Safety first: The current version is read-only and safe-control-only - the app contains no functionality whatsoever to write configuration parameters to the controller's flash memory, and no firmware flashing. It only sends the same "transient" commands the factory display normally sends while riding (assist level, light) - so there's no way to damage or brick the controller through the app.
Privacy: The app is fully offline. It doesn't collect, send, or store any data beyond your phone - all communication happens locally over USB. No internet connection, no analytics, no tracking. Saved configuration profiles are plain .ini files stored on your own device.
Requirements: Android 8.0+ (API 26), a phone with USB Host (OTG) support, a Bafang programming cable.
