Hello fellow Eggboteers,
I am running Chrome OS version 60.0.3.  I have installed Inkscape extension in the browser.  I need to know if the Inkscape Eggbot extension can be added to a Chromebook.  If so, how and where do I locate the extension?

Thank you for your support.

We do not have official support for the Chrome OS (just Mac, Windows, Linux), nor experience with the platform.  If you can get Inkscape installed and running such that you can use Inkscape extensions (it is not clear if you have done so), then you might be able to try a manual installation of the eggbot extensions into the Inkscape application itself.

The usual Inkscape extensions directory under linux (IIRC) is /usr/share/inkscape/extensions/ -- if you have access to this directory, you could try copying the files there. You can download the necessary set of files here:

Hello, I was wondering if you had any luck using a Chromebook with your Eggbot?

Thanks, Ryen
