On behalf of our club leadership, I would like to invite the startups at iHub to apply to the New Venture Competition in our upcoming 16th annual Africa Business Conference, held on February 28 - March 1, 2014 at the HBS campus in Boston. 

The ABC conference is the largest student-run conference on Africa, attracting over 1,000 participants from the continent and diaspora. We are creating, for the first time, a full entrepreneurship track during the conference, which includes a mixer for current and aspiring entrepreneurs, a workshop on creating and communicating a business model, a VC/entrepreneurship panel, and a business plan competition.Please see additional details below, including key dates and deadlines for the competition. 

ABC Conference 1st New Venture Competition

The African Entrepreneur is at the forefront of economic growth and human capital development in Africa. Our goal is to promote entrepreneurship on the continent: Entrepreneurs accelerating Africa - One Idea at a time

The Africa Business Club at Harvard Business School is pleased to announce its first new venture competition at its Annual Africa Business Conference.

10 finalist entries will be selected to pitch to an experienced panel of judges to win up to $10,000 cash in prizes. 

Interested teams should submit their applications at www.africabusinessconference.com/nvc. Below is the timeline for the New Venture Competition.

Finalists Notification by email:  Feb 2nd 2014

Finalist confirm attendance:  Feb 8th. 2014
