Due to inquiries and demand from developers wishing to advance their skills in Mobile Technology, eMobilis is introducing some of the following new Programs listed below for Mobile App Development specifically tailored for you through our corporate partners for August/September intake. There are full -time and part-time classes and scholarship opportunities are also available.

 

Java +

This course presents a detailed assessment of concepts, design approach and development tools needed to create test and run mobile applications in Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME). The course entails an intense training in PHP & Mysql to provide participants with skills in creating powerful database-driven mobile applications.

Duration: 2 Months

 

Unstructured Supplementary Services Data (USSD)

This course offers participants with skills to develop menu driven mobile applications that allow fast communication between the user and the application, secure and works on all existing GSM mobile phones. Topics include USSD Architecture, Menu and Levels Design, USSD Security, Database design among others. 

Duration: 2 Weeks

 

QT

This course is intended for developers interested in acquiring a better understanding of development principles of applications using Qt technology. Qt allows you to write advanced applications and UIs once, and deploy them across operating systems without rewriting the source code saving time and development cost.

Duration: 2 Months

 

Android

The course provides an in-depth review of concepts, design strategies, tools and APIs needed to create, test and deploy advanced applications for smart phone phones running on android platform. You will be able to write simple Android UIs, Built in Widgets and Components, Games, Multimedia content, Geo location,Persistence storage e.t.c

Duration: 1 Month

 

MIT/NOKIA EEPROM Mobile Phone Application Programming Course

This course trains students on how to create content and software for mobile handsets. This includes Business Utilities, Games, Themes, SMS, effectiveness tools etc. At the end of the training, students create a final project, which is presented to a panel of industry leaders. Technologies you will learn include JAVA & J2ME, LWUIT, PHP & MySQL, Dot Mobi, SMS Application. 

Duration: 3 Months

 

Integrated Program in Cellular and Mobile Technology Course

This course offers the students technical training on all key aspects of Mobile Technology. Topics covered include Radio Engineering, Core Network Management, Billing, Integration, Product Management, GSM, EDGE, 3G, Wimax, GPRS, and 3.5G. 

Duration: 2 Months
