Overview
We are looking for highly skilled Python(Django Framework) and PHP(Laravel) web developers to join our team on a full-time role in Nairobi.
Job Description
In this role, you will be required to participate in the planning process (user stories and research), carry out design of software architecture, set-up and maintain development, testing and production environments, write and test code, participate in code reviews, react to problems and user requests, mentor and train other developers joining the team.
Ideal Profile
We are looking for an infinitely curious, self-motivated individual that prides him/herself on completing projects and shipping code.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with Python. Django framework preferred and/or PHP, Laravel Framework
- Self-managed, proactive, and good at working with a small team
- Passionate about technology, the product and the creative process
- Running Agile software development
- Experience scaling web services
- Experience building server side APIs
- Working with data intensive products will be an added advantage
Remuneration
Base salary + significant performance bonuses on growth, and an opportunity to own shares in the company.
