In case you missed it yesterday, my Uni Watch Premium article on Substack this week is an interview with David Crabtree, founder of the great ice-design database website TheFaceoff.net, which documents the history of hockey ice graphics, including center-ice logos, red lines, and more.

Again weird comments. Just look at the NBA jerseys for what the perforated numbers are like. They are simply more flexible. They appear solid from anything further than a couple of feet. Again, just weird to complain about authentic jerseys and functional elements.

My associate sold a pair of high dollar Jordan 1s that were purchased straight through Nike, and they did not pass the authenticity check. We have receipts, screenshots and everything. They were exactly the same as when they were shipped to us, no lacing, trying on or anything.

I just had a pair that I bought from Foot Locker fail authentication. I have no clue why. The message they sent was vague with reasons. When eBay shipped them back, FedEx delivered them to the wrong address. The tracking says "Delivered", but they never were. Now, neither eBay nor FedEx can do anything for me, and I'm out of $400. I can't begin to tell you how frustrated I am.

Items produced but not taken by brand owner or their agent and licence holder are sold off as over makes or defective ( Fact being that they are neither) and end up in same market place being sold at prices 50% or even lower than some outlets.

In my view these are Authentic in Legal terms as they were produced under brand holders agreement and knowledge and Unauthentic in commercial terms as brand holder or their licence holder has not made any money from these items.

Oh yes. This service is terrible. Their terms and condition state two day turnaround times and I have handfuls of orders that have been sitting in the 'Authenticity' hub for over a week. My customers are wondering what the heck is going on and they are wanting to open cases and ask for a refund. Just pathetic.

Unbelievable. I live in Oregon, and I come across SAMPLE Nike shoes straight from the manufacture. Which also makes them more desirable. One of a kind. I was wondering about the authenticity process on those.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for understanding.

For some of the jerseys in our lineup, you'll find that every single letter is stitched onto the front, with the player's name and number stitched onto the back too - making it as real as it gets! But hold up, for some other jerseys, we only got the front letters stitched on. You might be thinking, "Why's that?"

Here's the deal: sometimes players get traded, and we don't want to be tossing perfectly good jerseys just because of a roster shake-up. So, we got a bit crafty! The names and numbers on the back are stitched together first, and then they're heat-pressed onto the jersey. This way, we keep things fresh and flexible!

Want the nitty-gritty details on how it's all done? Check out the 'DETAILS' section on each authentic jersey's page.

Authentic jerseys are crafted from premium materials similar to what players wear, featuring stitched-on details and a tailored fit, designed for high durability and detailed player-specific customizations. They come at a higher price point.

Swingman jerseys, on the other hand, are high-quality but more suited for casual wear, with heat-sealed or screen-printed details. They offer a more relaxed fit, are generally more affordable, and durable for everyday use, albeit with fewer player-specific details compared to authentic jerseys.

It aims to capture the genuine essence of Rip City and its people through its designs and products. The brand prioritizes originality, creativity, and aspires to represent the region's lifestyle and values, and to celebrate the diversity of Rip City.

The stakes are high. Get it right and you will build significant competitive differentiation over those brands still playing by the old rules. Get it wrong and you will be picking up the pieces of your shattered reputation for a fair while. Just ask Audi USA, after its recent Super Bowl ad fiasco:

Having clarified your cultural identity group and their values, you then need to address the significant societal fights that create tensions with the cultural beliefs of your community. To ignore these would be inauthentic.

Nike is well known for living and breathing its culture: Its employees are often ex-athletes or simply love sports. Its office facilities include state-of-the-art sport facilities. Its employees proactively get involved in the local sports communities. Its Community Ambassador program gives Nike employees the opportunity to make a positive impact in their communities. In schools and communities around the world, Nike Ambassadors volunteer to provide quality coaching for kids in sport and physical activity, passing on their passion for sport to the next generation; in China, for example, the programme reaches more than 2 million children.

Nike shoe boxes are typically made of high-quality hard paper with eye-catching colors and outstanding logos. The boxes come in a wide variety of colors and patterns, but the most common ones are orange, red, and brown. The barcode, style name, size, serial number and SKU (if applicable) should all be printed on the box.

The SKU number on the interior labels should match the one on the box. The counterfeit Nike factories frequently attach sizing labels that are years out of date. An item manufactured in 2013 may have a label stating that it was designed in 2010, for instance. You can also check the official releasing date of that products as well. The fake may claim that they were created in 2008, whereas in reality, Nike produced them for the first time in 2010.

If you see a pair of Nike sneakers for a ridiculously low price on a website, you can be sure they are fake. There are only two possible explanations for such a low price. They are either offering you previously owned shoes or knockoffs of the Nike brand. You can spend $60 or more on a pair of Nike shoes. Yet, buying new Nike shoes from a website that only offers them for $20 is probably not the best idea.

With the above instructions on How To Check Original Nike Shoes, you should be able to buy genuine goods anywhere. Also, please leave a comment below the article if you know of any other ways to tell the difference between authentic and counterfeit Nike shoes so that others can follow!

The most notable difference between an authentic and knockoff NFL jersey is the NFL logo on the front of the neckline. Nike purposely made this patch with a rubber material that is difficult to copy, and it seems as if no knockoff has been able to replicate it. Before you look any further at a prospective jersey, look at this tag. Knockoff jerseys will likely have a cloth NFL logo sewn onto the front of the neckline or some sort of vinyl. If it is not made of a thin rubber, it is not a Nike authentic jersey.

Jersey sizes are printed inside the neckline on the back of authentic jerseys. Rather than having a tag that could rub up against your neck, Nike decided to place the sizing on the collar itself. Depending on what jersey you are after, sizing will either be printed or stitched directed on the collar.

The Nike price tag attached to current authentic NFL jerseys is another easy way to spot a knockoff. All Nike NFL jersey tags look the same. The tag has a black shell and a picture of a football field on the inside. If it has a different tag, then the jersey is a knockoff.

Saving money by purchasing a knockoff may be your style, but you will be surrendering some key physical features, making it more likely that you will stand out in a crowd. Be wary when searching for jerseys on marketplaces and be sure to do your research before making any purchases.

This article will explain several hidden methods for reading Nike's serial codes. We also explore how items can be quickly dated through changes in neck tag designs as well as the serial numbers which can be found on most Nike clothing. Nike, throughout its history, has introduced diverse neck tag styles, serving as crucial indicators of the garment's period.
