Hi everyone,

This coming Friday, November 6th, Dr Michael Dietz from the College
of Natural Resources has been kind enough to agree to provide a tour
of the Utah House and Wetlands Discovery Point in Kaysville. This
visit will provide an excellent opportunity to see some examples of
sustainable building practices. The tour will cover both interior and
exterior features of the sites, so it should be of interest to ID and
LA students alike.

We are meeting at around 8:00am at FAV, and will depart shortly
thereafter. The tour is set to begin at approximately 9:30, and
should conclude sometime around lunch.

Please let me know if you are interested in attending, and if you are
available to drive, or will need a carpool space. I am trying to get
a head count for Michael by Thursday, so I would appreciate it if
interested persons would respond by then.

Jeff,
Is this event open to EGB people outside of USU?
If so, can they meet up with your group at the Utah house at 9:30?
Let us know.
Thanks

David Henderson

This event is definitely open to any parties.

Michael will be glad to demonstrate what that they have going on in
Kaysville to as many people as possible.

Some of us here in Logan will be meeting at the FAV at around 8:00 to
carpool, but there are also others who going directly to the Utah
House.

In short, just please be at the Utah House at 9:30am on Friday if you
are interested. Also, it would be helpful if interested persons would
let me know if they are planning on attending, so I can give Michael
an idea of how many to expect.

Thanks,
Jeff
