USGBC Utah - Annual Event

Hi Folks,
Just a reminder that the annual USGBC Utah chapter membership event is
happening this Thursday, August 26th at 6:00pm at Squatter's (147 West
Broadway (300 South) Salt Lake City).
The event is free for chapter members and $20 for non-members.
The event is geared to give an update on what the chapter is doing and
give the membership an opportunity to mingle and learn about green
building together.
(FYI, to join the chapter as a student/young professional is only
$25. . . so this one event basically makes joining the chapter worth
it. If you need information on how to join the chapter, let me know.)
Here is a link to the flyer for the event. It describes what will be
happening (food, networking, learning, fun).

I can't make it this week because I am in a Professional MBA program at the UofU. We have class on Tu/Th nights from 6-10pm. You may want to let the USGBC know that their scheduling conflicts with the program for future reference. I know there are a few people in the program who would have liked to go. Hope all is well

Courtney Long from the chapter just reminded me that if you are not a
member of the chapter and are paying the $20 to attend the chapter
membership event this Thursday, the $20 covers you and a guest. . . so
you can bring someone with you.
