Building Conversation
USF is continuing its efforts to become more environmentally friendly, and
students are leading the way, both through their words and their actions.
Next week’s University Beat listens in on the second annual "Conversation on
Green Building,” where students and administrators met with government and
private sector leaders to discuss USF’s commitment to sustainability.
The University Beat radio report on the Conversation and USF's green
practices runs next week on WUSF 89.7 FM, starting Monday (12/8) and
Thursday at 3:57 p.m. and Tuesday and Friday at 9:05 a.m. Promos for the
report will run throughout Morning Edition (5 to 9 am) on Tuesday and Friday
and during the late morning/early afternoon hours on Monday and Thursday.
The University Beat television report will run on WUSF TV/DT, Monday through
Friday, December 8-12, between 11:55 a.m. and noon, between 11:25 and
11:30 p.m., and at two other various times each day. It will also run on
Saturday and Sunday, December 13 & 14 at four various times each day.
University Beat is a radio and television program on WUSF 89.7 FM and WUSF
TV/DT that focuses on work and research from the University of South Florida
and how it benefits the Tampa Bay area, Florida, and the world around us.
Each week, reporter/producer Mark Schreiner looks at the latest USF efforts in
medicine, engineering, education, arts and sciences and explores other
programs that reach out to both students and the community.
