Hi Justin,

Below is a website I recently found out about that lists green products.  I have not used it extensvely but have heard it is very comprehensive. http://www.goodtobegreen.com/

the founder's name is Chidozie Bright and his contact is chid...@goodtobegreen.com

Let me know if you have any more questions.

If you want to learn more about sustainable building products I suggest getting involved with either our USGBC-OCchapter or EGB group.  Its a great way to stay involved and learn more about sustainability.  Also, the networking opportunities with other professionals are priceless.

Our next event is next Thursday, June 28th.  It is our EGB's one year anniversary party.  You can check out the flier at www.usgbc-oc.org.  Let me know if you are interested.

Hello,

I work with a small firm in Laguna Beach, have been involved in
several local environmental groups from Claremont to San Clemente.

I've been looking for a solid website list of local material-suppliers
for buildings which are highly sustainable and green.

I'm interested only in companies that are located in Orange County,
from producing windows, steel, wood, doors, flooring material, and
concrete that are made locally (in California or Oregon only) and are
designed in such a way where all sustainable possibilites are being
tried and implemented.

If there is such a list, I'd like to see it! Our firm would like to
move that direction as soon as possible. I will continue on my search
as well.
