And the winners are…
The Emerging Green Builders’ National Committee election was a great
success and thanks to all of you who submitted a bio for an open
position in your region. There were an exciting number of highly
qualified EGB’ers who submitted and the decisions were tough! Be sure
to read announcements from USGBC in the coming days, as the final
names will be announced very soon.

USGBC is well under way with its student group pilot program. For more

. USGBC has been preparing the student groups with helpful webinars.
Several webinars have already taken place, but check your e-mail for
more upcoming dates if you are interested in getting your school
involved.

Green Volunteering
First of all, a special thank you to all those who participated in
Historic Green. Just like last year, it was a huge success! This
year’s Historic Green started March 10th and went through March 20th,

Looking for more ways to help? As global warming continues, natural
disasters will keep coming. Do you have and a thought on how to help
after disaster has struck? We want to hear about it! Emerging Green
Builders’ Disaster Recovery team is just picking up steam and looking
for more volunteers. We would also like any case studies and lessons
learned from Greensburg and New Orleans. All information and ideas are
welcome! Get on the Local Leaders calls or the Extranet if you want
more information.

Natural Talent Design Competition
