USGBC and Enterprise Green Communities cordially invite you to a special event for students and emerging professionals: Equitable Design in Action: A Pecha Kucha Presentation and Reception Supported by: Enterprise Green Communities When: Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Where: Sheraton Phoenix Downtown in the Phoenix Ballroom D and E Please RSVP for this event* While this event is free, space is limited. A Pecha Kucha event involves a unique style of presenting. Each presenter shares their ideas in 20 slides, speaking on each slide for only 20 seconds, for a total presentation time of only 6 minutes and 40 seconds per speaker. The rapid pace keeps the atmosphere fun and fast-paced. This year’s presenters will include: Enterprise, announcing the next generation of Green Communities Spencer Haynsworth, The Frederick P. Rose Architectural Fellows Liz Ogbu, Associate Director of Design, Public Architecture Story Bellows, Director, Mayors' Institute on City Design Bill Walsh, Founder and Executive Director, Healthy Building Network USGBC, with a special announcement about the 2010 Natural Talent Design Competition All of our presenters are radically engaged in implementing design to help create equitable communities through the green building movement.
