here is a resource that may be an alternative to google goups: nexo
groups. Mainly its calendar function is great, plus it give a web 2.0
interface and is highly custom. Check out:
http://usgbccsulb.nexo.com/
for a sample site we put together. We're not using it at the moment,
but feel free to check it out if you're looking for ideas.
